Pregnancy can affect the outcome of your surgery. Generally, our surgeons recommend holding off on surgery until you have completed your family. Breastfeeding can also impact your surgery by increasing the risk of infection. Please be aware that you must conclude breastfeeding at least 6 months prior to your surgery.

YOUR MEDICAL HISTORY & MEDICATIONS
Please ensure that all medications and medical conditions have been disclosed to your Client Manager and that you are aware of all medical clearances or medical summaries that may be required to proceed. 1.2 CosMediTour arranges submission of health and other material (provided by you) for evaluation for possible surgery or other procedures by an appropriate surgeon or another healthcare provider, and where appropriate also arranges bookings for surgical consultations and procedures only.
1.3 CosMediTour only coordinates services and does itself not provide any surgical, medical or healthcare service.
1.4 CosMediTour does not have a financial interest in any of the Clinics or healthcare providers with whom bookings are made.
1.5 CosMediTour acts as a conduit for the provision of medical information from the Clinics and healthcare providers to you but does not employ any surgeons or other health practitioners.
1.6 Any information provided to you by CosMediTour in relation to a proposed health or surgical procedure has been provided by the Clinics or healthcare providers which will provide the surgical procedure or healthcare.
1.7 CosMediTour provides medical information to you on behalf of the medical practitioners and healthcare providers in good faith, but without offering or providing medical advice.
1.8 CosMediTour recommends that you obtain independent medical advice or a second opinion from an appropriately qualified plastic surgeon in relation to any procedure which you might be considering or which you have asked CosMediTour to coordinate.

2. Collection of Information

2.1 CosMediTour will provide the information collected from you to the Clinics and healthcare providers and from which health or surgical services might be obtained for the purposes of a surgical recommendation of your suitability for, and if approved, the provision of a surgical or health procedure.

3. Process

3.1 When you make an initial enquiry, your preferred requirements are discussed with you, and CosMediTour provides information about the Clinic, medical procedures and healthcare provider from whom services may be obtained.
3.2 CosMediTour does not guarantee your experience, nor that you will be satisfied with the surgical outcome, and CosMediTour recommends that you make your own enquiries both in relation to the suitability of the proposed surgery and the Clinic and healthcare providers.
3.3 You must complete the online Assessment Form including providing quality photographs according to the accompanying information.
3.4 If there is a family history of breast cancer, a Breast USS (Ultrasound Scan) will be required. However, if your medical history and background indicate that further pre-operative tests need to be done, this will be at your own cost, and your surgery may no longer qualify for our promoted prices.

5.3 Any decision about whether additional treatment or procedures are required will be solely determined by the Clinic or healthcare provider.
5.4 Whether or not you are well enough, or have recently been exposed to a condition which makes surgery unsuitable, is at the sole discretion of the surgeon.
5.5 You agree that CosMediTour is not liable for the provision of, or the outcomes of, any surgical or health procedure or your overall experience during your surgery, associated surgical recovery or travel. You agree to release (and by signing these Terms and Conditions do release) CosMediTour from all responsibility for health and surgical matters, including information provided to you about those health and surgical matters, and acknowledge these are the responsibility of the clinic and healthcare provider.

The aim of this group is to create a positively geared, educational platform for clients to collaborate and discuss plastic surgery, travel and accommodation. We do our best to keep the forum as private and secure as possible, however, please be mindful that it is hosted on a social media platform and the privacy of your content is at your own risk.

If you are interested in joining the forum, please review and accept the following terms and conditions:

  2. Be courteous to other members and their pre and post-surgery photos.
  3. Speak with integrity about your experiences.
  4. We welcome honest experiences but please do not be defamatory towards CosMediTour, other Medical Travel agencies, or Surgeons.
  5. If you have issues with any aspect of your experience in the first instance, please raise this with CosMediTour via email so that we are able to rectify the situation.
  6. Do not use the forum as a way to communicate with CosMediTour Client Managers. They do not monitor the forum.  Your best and quickest form of communication is via phone or email.
  7. When uploading photos please only post photos relating to the relevant discussion topics.
  8. Do not provide medical advice. It is important that our clients do not use our Private Forum to provide what can be seen as ‘medical advice’ on any surgical procedure unless they are a qualified health practitioner. This can cause confusion and anxiety amongst future surgery patients and is best determined by the Plastic Surgeon through each client’s confidential and personal Surgical Recommendation. As a professional Medical Travel Agency, we are always available to obtain and provide further information to our clients from our hospitals and surgeons.
  9. All inquiries relating to accommodation, surgeries, costs, transfers, hospitals, etc must be directed to your CosMediTour Client Manager at [email protected]

  12. If you cancel your surgery with CosMediTour you will be removed from the forum.
  13. If you are post-surgery and decide to book another surgery procedure with another entity and not through CosMediTour,  please do not discuss these details on the forum. The forum is for CosMediTour booked clients only so we want to keep all information relevant to CosMediTour so there is no conflict of interest.
  14. The forum is not designed to be your sole source of information and research about your surgery, it is very important that you complete your own research independent of what CosMediTour already offer clients so that you have a complete understanding.
  15. The forum is not to be used as a place for public debate while reviewing your case in the event of revision surgery. As this may cause distress to other members of the forum unnecessarily.

Please be aware that non-compliance with these terms and conditions result in your removal from the Forum without warning.
